Become a member of the WAC. Help support a non-profit organization dedicated to providing you snowpack, weather and travel advice for the mountains of NE OR.
Whether you ski, snowshoe, snowboard, or snowmobile, recognition of avalanche danger is an essential and potentially lifesaving skill. The WAC provides multiple Avalanche Awareness presentations that are free to the public. These introductory classes provide a basic approach to avalanche safety. WAC instructors will explain how to access avalanche and mountain weather forecasts and recognize basic signs of avalanche danger.
By purchasing a $50 Membership, you are contributing to our general funds to help our organization operate and provide detailed avalanche forecasts. You will also receive the following items;
- Custom BUFF Gaiter w/ WAC Logo on it
- Custom WAC Sticker that was designed by local artist Jaime Gustavson
You can only receive these items by purchasing a 2024 WAC Membership, so support your local avalanche center and sign up for a membership!
